OK well here is my problem. Recently when I have had a quick shift to second my car makes a loud bam sound and it feels like somone is hitting my dashboard with a sledge hammer!!! I mean this is real loud and hard. Hard enough to pop open my change thingy and spray me with quarters the other day durring a race! Anyone have any ideas whats up?

 

mine does the SAMe thing, i want to know how bad it is too. mine does that followed by a squeel of the tires.

 

Yeah I mean I sometimes get a real good clean chirp but most of the time its a bang/chirp

 

I think i already broke my axle/cv joint
it clicks a lot now while driving/turning.

 

same thing happens in my friends 96civic supercharged.

i was like is it supposed to shake the dash like that? says it always has.

 

This is what im starting to think...Driver error. Im gonna have someone else take it for a drive and try to chirp second cleanly. Because sometimes I get it good but sometimes I don't so I think that maybe im not giving enough gas soon enough or something. I dono its just starting to **** me off
