something wrong need help!!!!!1
Hey everyone im very new to this site heard about it from a friend he said everyone here is real nice and very help full,....I have a 93 si coupe with the stock D16Z6,.... my problem is when i ham on it and switch gears i have a sort of leg or something but i now for sure its not a clutch slip or anything like that, it wired its like it has no "snap". When i ham on it from first and switch at say 7g its like it wants to catch second at like 5 or 55 but legs back to 4 or 5 i cant even stay in vtech. So if anyone has ever heard of this or anyone has some suggestions or input that would be awesome im completly out of ideas... Thanks in advance Cody.
^^ that hurts my head to read. do the rpms go high when you let the clutch pedal out? or does it bog down like its falling on its face? do you have any CELs?
BTW its helpful not help full, lag not leg, know not now, 7k not 7g, and most importantly VTEC not vtech. <-they make phones and other crappy electronics

You might have a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum hoses and connections. Spray carb cleaner on the vacuum lines and around the intake manifold, if the rpm changes you've found a leak.
vacuum leak among other things. Could be the fast idle thermal valve or idle air control valve as well.
does the car still have a Catylitic convertor on it?
