Default some crazy questions about auto-manual conversion

Ok well first off here is the swap we are doing, I pulled my crvtec from my crx and am now helping a friend put it in his auto 92 integra. Both motors have been pulled and most of the 5spd conversion is completed but here is what I'm thinking:

The 92 integra's are obd-1 and if it was a 5spd from the factory it would be a hydro tranny.

We put in the clutch pedal assembly from a 90 integra and installed the clutch cable so it can work with my cable b16 tranny.

1. Now I've noticed that the passenger side mount on the frame of the 92 Integra is about 2 inches higher than the 90 Integra, will the cable tranny mount fix the problem? or do I need to space the tranny away from the mount to compensate for the 2 inch difference?

2. Can you use the auto wiring harness?

3. What the hell is this weird *** thing???? Its connected to the "abs controll unit"

This thread should answer pretty much all your questions.
http://www.g2ic.com/forums/sho...anual

1.But in that thread it talks about the way to shim the passenger side motor mount correctly because they are located in a different place on the frame rails for the autos.

2. Yes you can use your existing auto wiring harness for the motor. The only wiring that needs to be done is were the old auto shifter used to be. You need to wire up the neutral safety switch( this makes the car think its in park all the time so you can remove the key from the ignition), the reverse lights, and you must hook up the wires ( I belive there white with a black stripe) for the started to work.

3.I belive that is the abs acumulator or some bs like that. If you must keep that for the abs on the car to work.

Here is some more info about auto to manual from here
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=358464

This pretty much covers all the wiring that needs to be done:
http://www.rywire.com/autotoman_i.shtml

Most people say the wiring is difficult but honestly i found it the easyest thing about the whole swap.

Also if you need more info just search on g2ic or here, this has been covered many times.

I hope this helps !

Hey thanks a lot, everything is allready done, and I noticed the mount being higher than the manual because we have a donor car for it. The plan was allready to shim it up 1 1/4". Now that I have heard it works I'm that much more happy about it, the car will be driving tomorrow regardless, the wiring, clutch cable, mounts etc are all done. Thanks!

if you want to do a clean install you can buy just the manual trans mount plate from acura.all you have to do is use a spot weld drill and remove the old mount.and then drill a fue 1/4" holes in the new plate and weld the new one on
