Sohc ZC + A6 combinations....questions.
My ZC just went kaput (timing belt...have a spare head), and Im going to use some of my spare d-series parts to do a new build. Has anyone used a combo of ZC and A6 stuff? From my calculations an A6 block, and ZC head will yield a pretty high compression (using the c-speed calculator, and a d-series spec chart I cant find anymore). I have an A6, d15b (std), and a ZC to work with.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hey Jake did you ever find out if there even is any damage when the timing belt snapped? I would wait to see before putting on a different one...Oh and just so you know I have a DX head if you need some parts. Its sitting in my basement was already partially taken apart (have all parts still intact only loose) But if you have that head and the ZC cam it should be cool just wont be milled or anything.
Well get ahold of me and let me know I can bring the head by if needs be.
