sohc question

I have a 91 dx civic with the stock motor. I plan to put a d16z6 sohc Vtec motor in it, can i still use my old tranny, or do i have to use the new tranny. Will everything line up! Thanxs

yep! I think that you would like the gear ratios on d16z6 better.

buy a JDM Civic ZC tranny, even better ratios over the Z6 tranny and some come with LSD.

use old tranny, 88-91 tranny has the prefered ratios for D16 SOHC's

ZC's are just a cheap replacement.
