Default Socketed ECU

If I socket my ecu and there is no chip in it, what will happen? will the car run to my local tuner? OR if I have a bare chip with no basemap

You need a chip with a base map or stock chip.

What do you have, I might have a stock or base map chip that can get you by to the turner.

i tried mine without a chip and it worked fine. a basemap would be more ideal though
