snapped fuel rail stud... oops
I have this horrible curse in overtightening things, and snapped one of the studs that hold the fuel rail onto the im. this was the one below the fpr. it seems as if the fuel rail is on tight. will i have any problems with this?
How much of the stud is left when you remove the fuel rail?
If you can get two nuts on there it will be possible to remove the stud.
It will probably be fine but i'd fix it the right way with a new stud.

Or you could grab it with a set of vice grips and twist the stud out if there is any exposed.
I would make sure you get that fixed asap because you could have a serious fire on your hands if that thing decides to ****.

Vise grips
the two remaining nuts on the rail can be used to remove the broken stud.
Install the first one backwards and the other as you normally would.
Now continue turning the bottom nut until it locks with the top.
if you keep turning the bottom bolt the stud will come out.
I used a 10 mm flare wrench on the bottom nut.
I'm not good at explaining things, but this is the best way to fix your problem.
