i have a on going issue i cant seem to pin point. i have a b16 that smokes classic right. well here is some info been driving it for almost 3 years always smoked in vtec. since i have boosted it its been fine same smoke as usual, until the other day when accelerating lots of blue smoke.

- i have tried valve stem seal no luck.
- i have eagle rods,srp pistons and main stud

i have pulled plugs and its only cylinder 4
i have 180 comp across board

i recently had manifold off and both exhaust valves had lots of carbon and was soaked in oil.

now my main question is how much oil would a bad valve guide let leak? i have oil coming out around gasket on that exhuast port. but i havent lost any power and i know the oil control ring has nothing to do with power loss but just giving as much info as possilbe

any one else have this issue?

to me it looks like left exhaust port is worse

 

also i have added marvel mystery oil to oil to try and clean up some carbon, i was thinking maybe its built up around control ring, also sea foam the car no change so far

drove it today only smokes when accelerating and its off and on sometimes not so much other times like a freight train
