I know this is a tech forum but, If a cop gives you a ticket to see a smog referee, but you pay the bail, do you still have to see the ref?

 

i got one of those too.... and i got to take care of it before the 28...... i think...... i heard that they are stricked.... but they tell you what you need to make it pass..... i'm giving up the load exhaust.... for now.... and putting on a catalyc converter.... the f^cked up part about it is that i dont have a stock muffler..... i want to put like some kind of GSR or SI...... but for the engine part.... i dont know if will accept a crvtec engine...... i allready took off the turbo system....... ill tell you what happens when i do the smog..... just remind me.... ............

 

if you pay the full amount you dont have take the test. Mine was 149 for the ticket and I didnt take it to the smog reff...done deal

I went to the ref the first time to see if it would pass, it didnt pass. I asked the ref if i payed the bail which was like 300 dollars i wouldnt have to take it back to the ref anymore. He said that i would still have to take it to him. So he was lying then? I payed the cash, so can i just go to the regular smog station now?
