Default Smog? In a real tight spot...

Ok the situation is lately ive had a couple problems with my civic...Motors a sohc d15 block and z6 head..anyways ive had some problems and ive been trying to get them fixed as soon as possible due to me having to smog before the 22nd of this month. Now 2 days ago my head gasket blew as well as tapped a couple valves. So not im stuck debating if i will have time to remove the head, send it in for a valve job and resurfacing and reinstall it still having time to smog it in time...Now my other option is just try and go right to the smog shop and try to run it as it is since it just happened then fix it...
I know a Blown HG will affect smog but will it fail me? id like to get it fixed before but it just a time thing now....
