Just bought my fourth CIVIC and it's been a EFFIN NIGHTMARE!! burns too much oil to pass CA SMOG.. Do i need new valves? If you have an idea of what it might be please send me an idea of how to cure it THX!!!!

Yes...you need new valves.

 

how do you know he needs valves? what if it needs rings. Also burning oil doesn't not register on the 5gas analyzer. But it does clog the cat and makes it harder or impossible to store oxygen.

If you post the readings than we can verify whaty you need

 

I dunno. He asked if he needed new valves and with all of the info he provided(*none*) I figured it was as good an answer as any. Sarcasm is sometimes hard to get across on the internetz....

I need more info. I need the printout of hc co co2 o2 and nox. What your car put out and what the max is. the 15mph and 25mph.
