Sluggishness
I switched to synthetic oil a couple of weeks ago and ever since my car has felt extremely sluggish and boggy. I have a feeling the place that changed the oil put in either too much or, more likely, the wrong weight, as i cant see anything else that would do this. I want to switch back to normal conventional oil from the mobil 1. Any ideas on this? I was also going to check the plugs and fuel filter, and maybe advance the timing a deg. or two. I need suggestions fast cause i cant take much more of this!!
really i've never heard of an oil causing your car to feel sluggish, unless maybe u used some super thick oil but even then i don't see how. maybe something else is up did u switch gas? maybe u got some bad stuff. maybe your timing is off? silly question but have u chk'd your air filter to see if it was clean, a really dirty one could cause the sluggishness?

Car has been maintained meticulously (beyond even rec. points), oil changed every 3000 miles at most, has 17,000 miles now, never driven hard, doesnt run hot, ever, has bolt-ons listed in sig. Doesnt burn oil. I'm going to replace the plugs tommorrow and possibly advance the timing 1-2 deg., although i dont know if either of these is the problem.
