Default SLIPPED timing belt? damage to internal?

the right side engine mount broke and my engine leaning to the right and the engine cant start up. the reason is cuz the timing belt slipped or something. i think it jumped some teeths cuz the timing belt feels a lil wobbly. My question is would there be any damage to my internals?

for a little more info: the first problems to occur before i knew the timing belt skipped some teeths was that my car became unresponsive. it felt like my gas was getting cut off cuz it started getting sluggish but i was still able to pop vtec, but the vtec didnt feel normal, like i could hear it and all but i couldnt feel it in the wheels cuz i wasn't picking up a lot of speed like it normally would. and this happened for 2 days. the third day i was pulling out from a stop after a whole day of driving and the next thing my car died and my car backfired. i started up my car again and it was crazy loud. i have a stock muffler but it sounded loud like an aftermarket. then it died again after 10 seconds.

motor is a single cam zc vtec pretty much equivelent to d16z6 i think
someone told me that single cams are non interference motors so it shouldnt be a problem and only DOHC are interference motors.

i've had 3 ppl so far telling me their single cam timing belt snapping with no engine damage

do a compression test and leak down test to find out

the timing belt didnt slip completely off. what happened was the bolts from the engine mount broke and fell into the timing belt area and clogged up onto one of the gears and the timing belt jumped some teeths. the timing belt looks like its on normal but when u poke at it or tug on it it has some slack

that can bust valves... you're not going to get an answer that yes everything is ok, no matter how much you wish for it. Do the compression test.

someone actually gave me hope. said "<U>what motor was this on, im fairly certain sohc are non interference motors so if it did jump you should be ok, but dohc's are interference motors so if it skipped your done</U>."

can anyone verify this?

Pretty much all Honda engines are interference SOHC and DOHC. I think there is an older engine that is not.....can't remember of the top of my head what one it was though.

Here is a list of Honda interference engines;
1.2
1.3
1.5
1.6
1.8
2.0 (SOHC)
2.0 (DOHC)
2.1
2.2 (SOHC)
2.2 (DOHC)
2.2 (DOHC Passport)
2.3
2.6
2.7
3.0
3.2
3.5

If you don't see yours listed above then it is a non-interference engine.

Do a compression test and or a leakdown test as suggested to make sure.

They don't always bend valves when they jump a tooth or two. It all depends on how many teeth the belt jumped and how long after it skipped that the engine ran for. That will determine if, and how many, valves may have been bent.
