Default sleeving an h22a

How do you sleeve an h22a? Does it need to be machined? piston went and lunched the cylinder wall, trying to decide whether to rebuild or buy new.

Sleeving is something that a machine shop has to do.. They basically remove your old cylinder walls and press in new ones.. They are many different types and styles of sleeves you can go with.. Figure on about $1500 to get a block sleeved..

Theres 2 types of H-series blocks.
1 is the Open deck style which looks like the B-series blocks.
and the other is the solid deck style which doesnt show the coolant passage.

the type of sleeves we use are different of course in each one, but pricing is about the same. $900 or so for the complete sleeving process with the bore, hone, hot tank and step deck.
