Ive recently installed Ground Controls and Koni Yellows on my GSR. My goal was performance not looks as I ordered equal spring rates of 400F/400R. Originally I only wanted to drop it 1.8-2". However I ended up falling victum to the ricer side and ended up slamming my car. Its about 2.75" - 3" lower than stock. 1 finger gap all around. When fully loaded with weight the Konis look nearly fully compressed. And Im practically ridding aroud town on the bumpstops, which is really shity ride quality by the way.
My question is: is there anyway to keep the car that low and not have the shocks riding on the bumpstops? How do all those ricers do it with slammed cars? Maybe they dont care and all have this problem?? If I cant fix this soon, Ill just raise it up an inch.
Thanks in advance for any comments, and no flames.

Did you reuse the stock bumpstops? If so did you cut them in half? Most aftermarket springs/shocks say to in the instructions, if you didn't that'd give you some extra suspension travel.
The 'ricers' that slam their cars that far just put up with a crappy ride. You're better off raising it back up an inch or so.

Slammed is rice? Hmmmm. Race sus. and adjustable struts are not rice.
Cut springs are rice.
You need an alignment, your tires are not totally flat leaving you with loss of performance. Your camber, and toe might need to be upgraded, unless you raise an inch or so, then just an alignment.
Balence and rotate of course. You're losing performance...
Also, what buschings are you using, if you take a fast corner your tires might bend, you might consider polyutherothane. Engery Suspension has a good name.

you can get higher rate springs, you can raise the car up an inch, or you can have your koni's shortened for like $100bux each, roughly.....i'd just raise the car that one inch
