Default skunks2 or ground controls on civic setup with stock shock.....question

if i get skunk2 or ground control coilovers for my civic coupe......and i dont drop it or possibly very little, will my stock shocks still be ok? as if it were to have the stock springs on?

Most likely when u get coils you'll find urself dropping it more than u thought..
Well atleast thats wut happened to me
To be safe i would reccomend getting some aftermarket shocks,, Stock can only absorb so much and it will only be a matter of time b4 u blow them out...

yes
do not run stock shocks on coilovers
if your gonna do it, do it right
save up some $ and get a good set of shocks
koni yellows for GC's are good. but not cheap.

Stock shocks cannot control the stiff springs. You will look rediculous bouncing all over the place. You may not be on the bumpstops, but at least you'll look like you are.

where can i go about getting koni yellows, any sites? cant find any. also, when you guys say bottoming out and blowing my shocks, what actually happens when that happens? just curious. also, do i need to keep my bump stops after i get the shocks and coilovers?

when you guys say bottoming out and blowing my shocks, what actually happens when that happens?
You damage the internal components (valves and stuff).

can i be able to just get some ground control coils and once they go, install some aftermarket shocks like KYB, Tokico, or Konis then?

also, is there much of a diff if i get gc, skunks versus maxspeed, apc, arospeed coils? other than price
