i got a GSR and i am going to put in skunk2 stage 2 cams with the valve springs/retainers and CTR standard sized pistons w/rings......and someone told me that my valves are gonna smack my pistons because of high compression and high lift....is this true?? Or is this setup ok? anyone have this or knows anyone?

 

clay the motor and check for clearances..i dont think you should have any problems as long as you dont advance/retard any of the cams by much....since skunk2 stg.2's are similar to jun3's and people run the jun's with ctr pistons which seems to be quite popular.....good luck on the buildup
