Hey H-T quick question:

I have a B-series Skunk2 IM, and in the process of installing it on my B16A, but the stock fuel rail seems to be offset differently. Do I need to switch over to a GSR fuel rail to get the right fit?

The problem seems to be that the mounting points are offset differently from the injectors on the Skunk2 IM and the Stock IM.

Note: I am working out of town right now, so unfortunately pics or hands on is not an option, but if there is a quick answer that would be great, I'm looking into just buying an aftermarket F/R, just need to be sure the one I order will fit when I get home.

So you have a Skunk2 IM for a b16 head with a stock b16 fuel rail? I've never really looked at a b16 to see how the fuel rail mounts up but when I had my old skunk2 IM. I just used the stock gsr fuel rail and it sits fine.

 

I don't know which head it was for, I bought it as "B-series Skunk2 IM" so I figured all VTEC heads were the same. But looking on the Skunk2 support site, they say the GSR IM and the B16/ITR IMs are different manifolds. So I may have further problems.

So I'm guessing its a GSR skunk2 manifold, needing a GSR fuel rail, but will it match up to my B16 head now...

 

Try to see if it the IM bolts up and GSR heads have different bolt patterns from the b16 and ITR head.
