I just got a Skunk2 Intake Manifold for my 99 Ls but before I put it on my car I want to make sure its going to work ok with my set up or future set up. Right now I'm running a stock Ls Head with an AEM Intake, AEM Pulley Kit, DC Sport Header, and straight piping to the exhaust. I'm planning on adding Crower Cams, AEM Cam Gears, SAFC, and Possibly Nitrous ( Zex Kit with a 50 shot ). So will the Skunk2 Intake Manifold Help me out with the set up I have now ( what sort of gain could I expect )? Or do I need to wait to until I add My future Mods? Thanks for all your help.

wait for it, then get the intake manifold port matched too, while you have the head off.

 

why not install it now?..i got one on my b16 i had to modify one of the corners to fit and the iat sensor since it goes right behind my fpr..but other than that it works..good luck and take your time and do it right,you could get new manifold gasket and throttle body gasket while your at it

 

Yeah, I planned on doing a port and polish to the head when I take it all appart. What sort of gain will I get from the Skunk2 Intake Manifold alone?

theres no specific number on ur gains, it all depends. However, ive heard a bunch of times that the skunk2 manifold is in need of port matching to get the best numbers out of it
