Default skunk2 intake maniflod install question

i m puttin the skunk 2 intake manifold on my b18c. i know u dont need to use some of the old parts that were attached to the oem manifold. the engine is out and there is a rectangular black box under the intake manifold. one hose goes into the block and the other is a ?vacum line that attaches to the bottom of the stock manifold. if i havent confused u, could u tell me what that thing is and if i need to keep it on. ther is not spot for it to connect it to the skunk 2 manifold but im afraid to unhook it from the block.
thanks

that's an IAB valve which controlled the secondary on your stock intake manifold..

disconnect the box from the harness, and the tiny vac lines behind the old IM was your IAC vac, just loop it and tee it to the one on hte FPR..

the hose going into the stock intake manifold is the pcv hose. that will now connect to the larger vaccum fitting on the front of the sk2 manifold. youll have to get a longer hose that will reach.
