i'm trying to chose any of these exaust, anybody has pics of the new skunk2 exaust? is it louder than the n1??

 

I dunno about the sound diffrence of the two, but my freind has the N1 on his 2000 Civic Si, and the midpipe is super low to the ground and the rear flange to the muffler hits the gas tank. All in All the N1 is a great exhaust. Sounds good. I would reccomend the N1 to anyone, but I prefer the hummmm of the my Tanabe Racing Medalion.

 

I LOVE HOW THE N1 LOOKS, BUT MAN IS ANOYING HOW IT SOUNDS WHEN VTEC ENGAGES, LIKE A CROSS BIKE!

Skunk2 , not as loud as n1, but still loud.

 

What kind of car are you putting these on? They sound different on different cars. The N1 has a deep tone that really growls at VTEC but if you don't like it, you can always install the silencer and it totally cuts the volume.

 

i'm running the N1 on my 1997 EX (w/ B18 swap). before the motor swap, it was a deep, growly, sound. basically, it sounded as if all there was in my car was an intake. but after the motor swap, my car was roaring. it wasn't high pitched. my car still had that deep throaty sound and when VTEC kicks in, it would only get louder but the pitch would not changed.
