ok now i know everyone wishes they were skunk2 certified, but i am on a mission to find out more specifics on what the criteria is ..

it says you have to meet 5 hard parts and 3 minor parts. such as a header or intake or rear control arms for a hard part and a fender washer or valve cover bolt for a minor part ..

when they say you cant have any other companies on ur vehicle that are competing with skunk2 ..

im here to get a list of these companies so i can get skunk2 certified in the near future

please any input would be appreciated : thanks in advance

did i miss something? i thought skunk 2 was reasonably well respected company.

why is everyone so hatefull towards them?
ive used their products and using them now and have no problems with it.

just put a set of proC coilovers and urethane bushing set and i frikkin love it.


not trying to start another discussion but i think a product made in china to skunk2s specs is not the same as product made in china as a knockoff and with no standards at all...

 

there's some thread about the skunk2 controversy. I think that it is concluded most everything is from china and supposedly no quality control...that's what I gather at least.

 

never understood the whole "certified" street car thing. IMHO it's just a lame gimmick that gets you to spend > $1000 in bolt on parts to boost S2 sales. and they probably give you a sticker.. MAYBE EVEN 2?!.. and probably a 5% discount on shipping. save yourself the trouble and just buy parts you like and leave it at that.
