skunk2 cams stage????
sup ya, I bought my car off someone who had previously built the head with skunk2 camshafts. Im doing a vavle job soon but don't know the stage of the cams so I can figure out the specs. Is there any visible signs that I should look for when I remove the vavle cover.

Im pretty sure you would have to check the specs of the lobes.

check the specs and problably run it by skunk2? Your probably right, Hoping there would be an easier way like casting or part # on the cams.

pull off your distributor and look for one of the following
Skunk2 Stage 1 H01
Skunk2 Stage 2 h003
Skunk2 Stage 3 s10 and s8
For example, these are stage 1
Skunk2 Stage 1 H01
Skunk2 Stage 2 h003
Skunk2 Stage 3 s10 and s8
For example, these are stage 1

There is a casting and writing on the end. Mine say H08 IN and H08 EX on the ends for the Skunk2 stage2 and they have a circled 2 stamped towards the middle of the cam.
