hot can i tell if its a real sir motor besides the engine code?

the main way i check is by what tranny i they came with. If they didnt come with a tranny then you know the obd0 is eihter the civic/crx/integra, obd1 is the civic or teg, and ob2 is the civic. Quote me if im incorrect.
