Would it be possible to swap a SI tach into an SI cluster?
Majestic has the tach unit from the Si for $58 much cheaper than the $250 the clusters are going for on Ebay. Lookng for a higher redline without a MONster tach.

you can probably just put the gauge face on. if they sell it it shouldnt be more than like 15$ from majestic.

 

What year are you talking about. The gauges are swapable in the same modle year. Or do you just want the redline to appear higher on the face of the gauge. Redline does not mean much. It's only a factory warning the engine is losing power efficency at factory settings. If you mod your motor for RPM's the redline will be higher but changing the gauge is only cosmetic. Why would you care where the REDLINE appears as long as there is a tach, especially if your not racing.

 

I will be doing a B swap and am interested in upgrading to a higher redline, at a lower price.
