si or gsr??
Im am looking to buy another car (Acura or Honda) Ive done research on the b18c and b16a2 and the Horse is only off by 5, in terms of future potential which would be more beneficial in terms of aftermaket modifications. NO turbo or nitrous in future..
First I believe the HP is off by 10hp. GS-R's w/ flywheel hp of 170, and Si's w/ flywheel hp of 160
I'm not sure where these two points fall on the powerband, but I'm certain that a GS-R will definatly respond better to the right mods, from the increased displacment.
Also stock versus stock with all variables held constant, GS-R are faster down the 1320. And the additional torque will make it more competative in auto-X.

my friend had a 99 si and i beat him everytime we raced (he is probably a better driver than me too
) he had an itr intake manifold, aem cai, itr throttlebody and a dc jdm 4-1 header. All i have is an AEM CAI. I would go with a GSR.
