short intake question
ok, short in takes are supposed to suck in cold air without the problem of hydrolock, but isnt the air in the engine bay hot? or is it the suction of air at all?

Not quite sure what you are asking but cold air intakes, due to the location of the filter being outside your engine bay, allow colder air to be inducted than a short ram intake. If you're worried about hydrolock just buy a bypass valve and you'll be set using a cold air intake
