Shocks and Rubber Bumper Question
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I'm in the process of getting my car lowered right now. I had recently lowered the car with suspension techniques sport springs. But got a deal for some tokico HP's both used.. I'm gonna install the shocks on monday but i was just wondering how much of the rubber bump stop should i be cutting off to accomodate the lowering springs?
I was told that there should be some documentation included with the springs that tells you how much to cut the rubber. BUT i bought it used without any info.
So does anyone know how much I should be cutting the rubber stoppers? OH. also where I would be able to get some rubber stoppers if i don't want to cut my stock ones?

You best bet is to give them a call. http://www.stracing.com
I held onto my stock ones cuz they were in such good condition and it would have been a shame to throw them out. They're from a 93 Civic hatchback. You want them?

thx for the offer.. I called up honda and they'll just sell me two of them for $10 each..
still don't really know how much to cut tho... i read rule of thumb is like 1/3-1/2 off but then no one can really tell me exactly how much to cut off..
