Default Shocks

I am thinking of lowering my car soon, and i have a question , is it still safe to run wit stock shocks? I mite be dropping about 1.5 - 2.0 inches down. What do you guys think?

the shocks will probably go 3x as fast as they would normally...so if you got the money might as well get them installed at the same time as opposed to doing it twice

i dont understand . is it necessary to replace the shocks if i am thinking about dropping 1.5 - 2.0 inches?

When you lower your car you are getting stiffer springs which will cause your shocks to go faster than normal. Its not necessary to replace the shocks at the same time but it would be a good idea, just to save some time becuase eventually you will have to replace them. So its up to you if you have the money do both at the same time.
