How did you go about installing a shift light without having to use a aftermarket tach ??

actually, i have a really great little shift light made by stewart warner performance. it has a bunch of little bright-as-hell LED's surrounding an internal digital tach. it looks great, installs easily (three wires), and is cheaper than buying an autometer set (composed of shift light, rpm module, pills). http://www.sw-performance.com
