shift knob help
I have a Skunk 2 shifter in my Civic with a JDM ITR/CTR shift **** - it is a bit tricky - you have to line it up perfectly like a lug nut on a stud. Clean the threads out with a wire brush and try lubing the threads with Never Seize or another lubricant. Make sure it is lined up properly.
If it doesn;t work, just bite the bullet and get the Skunk 2 shifter ****.

Forget that hard crap! Just put some weight on it and start screwing!
