Shaved flywheel - what do you think?
Mista, do you think that a B16a in a 1650lb car needs the same "help" from the flywheel. Im tossing up the benefits of a lightened flywheel myself.
if car is that light, and you runs slicks, go light and launch HARD!
In a light car too heavy of a flywheel launched at a high rpm = tire smoke!
It is a fine line, you must tune/adjust to your setup.

I was just making a valid point, also looking out for everyone's safey who does this (especially if you shave it yourself and don't balance it; which I wasn't sure if that is something you've done or not since I don't reall you mentioning it).
That'll teach me to care about the well-being of someone I've never met.
My cousin bought a stock b16 flywheel that was shaved down to almost 9 pounds. I didnt believe it at first untill i saw it and weighed it. The guy that he bought it from said that it was professionally done and was balanced by someone who knows alot about flywheels. damn thing revs up real fast and has been on his car for quite sometiime. Im kinda worried about the strength but i think the guy who did the lightening already thought about that.
