Default Sensor Q

I just swapped in a ls/vtec in my 92 civic si. The car ran like crap the first couple of days and I thought it was just cuz I wasnt running a o2 sensor. I put the o2 sensor in this week and it is still running like crap. My question is since my car is obd1 and the intake manifold is from a b16a1 and since that is obd0 would the sensors from the obd0 manifold not work correctly with my wiring harness off of my 92 civic si? Any help is appriciated.
thanks

The intake manifold shouldn't have anything to do with it, replace the O2 sensor and see what happens, it's very possible that it has become damaged.

if everything is hooked up right, the sensors on the obd0 manifold will work for the obd1.
