Default Sensor on intake.

A friend of mine was putting a AEM cold air onto his civic ex and couldn't find where to put the sensor that is attached to the stock intake box. What does he do?

I just left my extra vacuum hose loose in the engine bay and it is fine. As long as it doesnt suck up any dirt or anything it will be fine. Mine has been like that for a couple years now.

Its not a hose, its a sensor.

What it happens to be is irrelevant, he needs to know where it goes since there is no mounting spot on the intake piping.

There is supposed to be a hole with a grommet in it on the intake- sounds like he got the wrong intake. Drill a hole in the pipe and use a grommet or some sealer to hold it in place.
