Default secondary o2 sensor

how do i get rid of this code? i made a straight pipe and this light is been on for awhile now. i know its the catalytic converter but is there anyway to trick the ecu? and i saw this o2 simulator while i was searching the web....does this work?....thanx in advance

You can just have an oxygen sensor port welded in to your straight pipe..... When I have done this in the past say to run open header I normally just plug in the O2 and zip tie it up somewhere..... It has no input on how the car runs, that's the job of the primary...

OBD2 vehicles retard ignition timing and add fuel when it senses dirty emissions.

The secondary O2 will throw a cel, but will not put the car into limp mode. It's purpose is an emmissions check, not engine control. Get a simulator, follow the instructions, and your cel will be gone. Until then, the light in your dash is the only effect, engine will operate as normal.

Also...don't waste your time welding the sensor into your straight pipe, it will still throw a code 67....
