Default Secondary 02 Sensor on OBD-2

Hey, Just build a test-pipe for my 00 Si and my o2 sensor doesn't have a home anymore. Just curious what I can do about this so my check engine light won't be on. Thanks.

You can get an O2 sensor simulator from importparts.com for 40 bucks. It's made by ECG Electronics. Go to the "Electronics" section of their site and you should find it.

There's some kind of wiring trick you can do (it may be grounding out the sensor) that will fool the ECU most of the time. The thing is that the signal is supposed to vary a lot and after a while the ECU will throw a CEL if it sees the same signal constantly.

Yeah, it trips code when I stay a constant speed when the car warms up. I'll look into the thing at importparts.com.

Anyone know about the ground-out trick?
