Default Secondaries hooked up to vtec?

I'll be running a chipped P28 until I get my skunk2 IM for my GSR.

Would there be a problem for the ECU to activate the secondaries and Vtec at the same time?

I am talking about power consumption here, I dont want to burn down anything in the ECU, at worst i'll hook up a relay of some sort.

Also, on the secondaries, there are 2 wires, 1 is ground, other one is positive from ECU? Or 1 is positive and other one is switched ground from ECU?

Thanks alot!!!

Someone said the IAB differs between OBD1 and OBD2, might want to check that, one is postive activated, one is ground activated. Check a manual.

If you have a chipped P28, you can just have them locked open.

obd1 is negative activated where obd2 is postive activated.

You need an electrical signal to have the soleinoid open the secondaries with vaccum...
