Default Seat Weight

Has anybody weighed his or her seats? I just weighed my GSR driver seat and it was 35lb. Does anyone know of any seat that weighs less?
Any info would be great

Depends on your comfort requirements. Some full sized racing seats can weight in at 9lbs. But will cost a boat load.

I.E. Recaro's carbon fiber non-adjustables are about 11 lbs and cost $1600 each.

How much do you think S2000 seats weight?

$1600 is a little more then what I had in mind. At that point I would say I need more power, lolol.

"Weight reduction" is gettin rediculous, unless your drivin a race car. Everyone drivin a round a stripped out car and never takin it to the tracks is stupid.

Im not sayin you do that...just in general

Stock steelies weight in at 18lbs each.
Total removable tar on the car weights in at 20-23 lbs.

Get some lighter wheels. They are also considered rotating mass.

If I wanted to reduce weight were should I start? I have 5g civic with an h22a motor that weigh 2580 with me and 2400 without me. Because of my motor swap I don't have a/c so I pulled it out and saved about 40lbs. The civic is an 94 si, I would like to pull more wieght out of it, so I need help and ideas.
