Default Scrape on H22 block

I just picked up a H22A4 block for the crank. Got it really cheap.....but i would like to know if the block is still reuseable. It has two deep cuts on the block. Here is the pictures.....let me know what you guys think...yes reusable or no not reusable...

How deep is the cut? Hard to tell from the pics but it kinda looks like a scratch on the surface..

lets say i want to use this block later on..can i fill it with something and use copper hg sprayer on the the hg to make a better seal?

I would say you would be fine with using copper spray on that.. Only thing that scares me is that the crack might spread..

Not sure what to tell you.. I would take it to a machine shop and have them look at it.. Or you can get it sleeved..

if its just on top take it to a machine shop and have them deck the block and see if it takes it out.

i thought about that but the machine shop might haev to take too much off where the piston might stick out of the hole.

it looks like the block could be decked to get rid of those scatches no problem; but then again, it ''looks'' like...
