Default Science books about IC engines

I'd like to get some books about internal combustion engines. Well, i don't need books that tells you how things work etc... i need books describing theory and experiments, like where should injector be located, injector angle, theorys about intake and exhaust manifolds.... also'd like to get book describing how to build and engine, how to analyse camshafts, engine geometry, what measuring tools to use when building and engine (degree wheels, etc...), about engine dyno testing, what works and what doesn't...
So i need something above basic books which are all the same just different author who took ideas from someone esle not knowing what he is writing...

Well i am studying mechanical engineering and would like to research things myself. Maybe i will be able to test things on an engine dyno. So i need some quality fundamentals for my work.

Thanks guys

Internal Combustion Engine Fundamentals
by John Heywood

It's probably required reading for some Mech. Engineering class programs. I'm not an engineer myself, but I started reading a little of it. It has lots of theory and you need lots of prior mathematical knowledge (probably up to at least Calculus 4 or 5). It covers spark ignition engines, compression ignition engines (diesel), and there's some info on rotary, but not too much.

It's pretty much the best ICE book out there.

EDIT: Amazon has it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obi...07846
