S1/J1 FD in LS tranny

Can you put swap a 4.4 final drive from a S1/J1 transmission into a usdm LS transmission? If its possible I guess it would only be he 90-91 LS transmissions. Has anyone done this before.

As far as I know, there are no common parts shared between 1989-91 transmissions and 1992-01 transmissions. It will not work. Use an ITR final drive. It'll be more worth your while anyway.
