Ok, I had my flywheel resurfaced day before last and after the guy was done with it he put it in a plastic bag for me. Well, today I took it out and it had some rust build up on it where the water left on it had sat against the bag. (see pics below) I tried to spray some parts cleaner on it and wipe it down put some is still left on there. So, can I just knock the rust off of it with some sandpaper, or should I take it back and have it resurfaced again.

Also, what is the correct stepping specs for the d16z6 flywheel. The guy thought it was .058" and did it to that spec, but wasn't absolutely sure, because his sheet didn't have my engine listed for some reason.

you could also get a brillow pad and get the rust off if you really wanted to and it wouldnt effect anything.
