Default Rusted Flywheel!!!

Hey,
My engine has been out of my car on an engine stand for like 6 months, and the flywheel now has surface rust on it. Just a very thin coat. It was just resurfaced like 4,000 miles ago, so i dont want to do that again. How can I get this rust off. Should I just wet sand. Any imput would be much appreciated.

Don't mess with it, just drive it. It will be cleaned off in less then time then you can say "coke & tin foil".

You can just sand it off with 400 grit sandpaper if it bothers you that much. Otherwise it'll wear off with use. If anyone thinks sandpaper is too harsh, think about what kind of conditions it normally works in.

I DO NOT recommend 400 grit sandpaper as a substitute for toilet paper.
