i have a jdm b18c in my 99 ek. it has itr intake/exhaust manifolds, rc310 injectors, jhp muggen chipped p28, honda access ek sport exhaust, vafc, and a cai. now when i really jam on my car, mostly at vtec x-over through my next up shift, there is a credible amount of smoke, it is a bluish gray hue. Im hoping this is just from running rich, with the bigger injectors, and the ecu, which is programed to run rich. anyone with a similar setup have this problem? thanks in advance for any help.

 

I could be wrong, but I thought you could set air/fuel with the vafc, so modify the settings if its running rich.

 

no your correct, i just havent got the car tuned . but i was still thinking it was running a little rich, there isnt alot of smoke, i can just see it when im giving the car ample throttle. any other thoughts

 

i always thought if your blowing blue smoke your burning oil? are you burning oil?

 

i think it burns a little bit. what could i do to preven this, oil catch can?
