rpms
yeah i know...revolutions per minute. my question is does that measure each individual cylinder, or is a total for all of them. for example, a 4 cylinder at 1000 rpms, is that 1000 or 250 per cylinder?
i have to give a persentation in the internal combustion engine, and i wanted to get the minor detail worked out so i didn't look like a fool if someone called me on it
thanks!

rpm = crank revolutions
<U>ex.</U>
crank turns 360 degrees per minute = 1 rpm
<U>ex.</U>
crank turns 360 degrees per minute = 1 rpm
Just thought that might add to the discussion
