Rough idle. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi!!!
I own a JDM B16A 1st generation and I have a bad problem with my idle. My ECU is a PR3 and I chipped it around a year ago. I kept the original chip.
A week ago, I raced an Integra and verything seemed nice until I noticed that my car was idling above 3000 RPMs. I tried to adjust the throtle cable and the screw on the throttle body and the lowest RPM that I ajusted it was around 2500. I putted the Original chip back in the ECU. The reason for that is because the chip that I installed disables the EACV Valve that controls the idle and A/C compensation.
To my surprise the car started to rev from 1000 RPM to 3000 RPM back and forth, like if somebody was pressing and releasing the gas pedal continously. I ran the car and it seemed to work fine on revs above 3000 but below that number started to accelerate and desacelerate the car at the same patern as stationary. The ECU never gave me an error code for anything. I do not know if there is a bad sensor or something that is not right in the intake manifold.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its a vaccum leak too big for the iacv to compensate. But its sure is trying. Try finding the vaccum leak, or replacing it with a friends known good one. They do get old and bad.
