Default Rotary engine...

Ok, heres a question from someone who knows nothing, so please dont flame - Some old rx7's have a rotary engine. What are the specs for this engine? What kind of horsepowere do they have? Whats the engine life? How do they compare to others...? Thanks

benefits- high HP to displacement, low inertia parts, few moving parts, no valve train, just a couple of triangles and an excentric shaft- can be reved up very high. downfalls apex seals ( flat type piston rings).
