Actually, I wouldnt jack it up. I rolled mine by actually putting the bat in the well and then instead of pushing hard, just gripping tight and as a friend rolled the car forward, I turned the handle. Then cover the wheels and sprayed sealant.
When you roll it, more than likely the paint will crack on the under side by where the actual lip of the fender. I sprayed sealant to prevent any paint chipping or pealing in the future., etc..
sorry to barge in on your thread, but i have heard a lot about rolling your fenders, but what exactly does it do to the fender. fold it under, make it stick out??
I have heard it is for better wheel/tire clearence, how does it work??
Thanks!!

Run your hand under the fender and you will notice a L <--graphic
When you roll it roll the _ up to more like a / that way you can get better clearance. Shops around here also cut the _ completely out.

thanks for the info. I tried it a little bit tonight....I noticed that the paint definitely cracks off.... Just hope that I rolled it enough and that the paint doesn't dontinue to peel off towards the actual paint on the car. Only chipped off on the lip part.
Also, you could cut small notches in the _ part to relieve some of the stress. When you bend it up on that radius, it's going to be "stretching" a little. This way you would be less likely to peel the paint...
In other words when you bend the _ part of the L to look like this |/ the / part will have to be "stretched" or notched because the top of / will actually be longer over this radius now.
