Default rod question??????

What is used to determine a rods strength or durability, is it rpm or horsepower.

I want to run an ls crank, ls rods and itr pistons in my gsr block. Thinking of going with Skunk stage 2's so i will be revving to like 9 grand. obviously i wont be putting more than 200 horsepower to the wheels. I heard of b16 rods being able to handle this but can ls rods?

I would balance the crank if I were you. Its cheap and Non-VTEC cranks are not zero-balanced from the factory like VTEC ones.

Ive personally seen LS rods/crank being rev'd to 10k (yes, thats right) for months on end. All he did was balance and use some ARP's.

That guy wasnt the brightest guy in the world, though.....im just saying ive seen it done.

Does anybody know the correct part number

Do stock rods and aftermarket rods like eagle use the same bolt size?

I believe this is it but can somebody confirm (Part # ARP208-6001)
