Default RMPs Matching Speed

ok, just a quik question, let's say i havea sir swap b16a obd1. stock setup. driving @65 mph, and my tach is @ 4k. is that correct on may gauges?

welcome to the wonderful world of b16 transmissions. short gears = crazy high rpms at highway and freeway speeds. my car is the same way. terrible.

well, i just wanted to make sure my tach was not a wrong. i knew the rpms would be high, but not sure how high. ok all need to know. thanks oh yeah, what about it change rmps on the same speed. is that the vtec aprt changing rpm readings?
